NFL Season Week 6 Small Review
Written by MKWe are at the week 5 of the NFL season; we have witnessed some of the team's rising from the precarious situation they were. Teams that have been underestimated and now are taking the control of the game field. Week 6 is coming, let's review what could be the surprises it could bring. First of all, we have the Carolina Panthers and his superstar Cam Newton in combination with DeAngelo Williams. Their offensive is something worth to watch, and this coming game against the Atlanta Falcons will be exciting. The Falcons are getting fast and their hasty linebackers may be over Newton really quick; if John Abraham makes it to the game, then it will be a paired match. Michael turner can put the Falcons over Carolina if he breaks out. With QB Blaine Gabbert, the Jacksonville Jaguars know that this week they will have to throw as far as they can against the Pittsburgh Steelers, they can count with the powerful arm of the rookie QB if they can defend him so he can pass to a solid zone, the Steelers are know for their tactic of rushing the QB and the offensive line of the Jaguars is not strong enough to contain Woodley and Timmons. The Steelers have the upper hand on this one. If the Philadelphia Eagles fall in the hands of LeSean McCoy then the possibilities to win are very high. The defense of the Redskins has been allowing to all traspasers like 4.3 yards at least; with Brian Orakpo and Ryan Kerrigan up in the field, if McCoy can slip the Eagles can make a real mess on the Redskins. Now on the other side, Washington has a direct and concrete offensive, but they may have some troubles dealing with Philadelphia defensive lines. St. Louis Rams it's going to have a hard time against the Green Bay Packers machine, the Rams may try to stop the Packers advance, but for the Rams, that will be like trying to stop a train. Atlanta Falcons failed on their try, The New Orleans Saints couldn't stop them either, so this is as simple to say: There is no chance for the Rams to stop such unstoppable force of destruction. The Buffalo Bills meet the New York Giants. The Bills showed a great game against the New England and Philadelphia has showed us that they are ready and armed to deal with any team, even the tough ones. The Giants won't be an easy one; they probably will try to take over the Bills defense, maybe moving Ahmad Bradshaw early on the game, if the Bills counter the offensive, then the Giants may try a different maneuver with Eli Manning and his trio of receivers. This will be titanic, the San Francisco 49ers will face the Detroit Lions; The Lions are known for their strong defensive line and their hability to mess with the backfield while making opposing quarterback in precarious situations. Frank Gore and Kendall Hunter will be the chosen weapons for the 49ers this week; together they provide good runs and backfield receiving's. The Lions on the other part may relay on Calvin Johnson who has the 49ers on his black list of teams to defeat. Megatron will be the target for Matthew Stafford passes, while opening the road for Jahvid Best on delays and draws as was seen against the Chicago Bears. This may be a Lions victory since the 49ers doesn't have how to deal with Johnson. Now, the Indianapolis Colts charge against the Cincinnati Bengals to a matched encounter. With the help of Curtis Painter the Colts have been winning on the past two weeks, but their game it's incomplete. Facing the Bengals could prove to be challenging for the Colts, Cedric Benson will put the score to their advantage if he can power run at the beginning, and the Colts have too much on the offensive line to give the Colts a hard game. Cleveland Browns messiah will be Peyton Hillis this week; the Browns have to deal with the Oakland Raiders, but the Raiders defense is not in best shape this year. Hillis and Hardesty have been busy getting the credit for a stellar season. If the Raiders can stop Browns charge, they may turn the game on their favor thanks to Darren McFadden; they just have to evade Jason Cambell's butter hands this week. Houston Texas and the Baltimore Ravens, one of the best offensive lines against the toughest defense presented at the moment. Texan Arian Foster will have a hard time trying to pass the Raven's lines. With Texan Mario Williams out the Ravens will try to run at the left side of the Texans defense; however that doesn't mean that they are helpless, they will put a tough fight. Another great offense in yards, New Orleans Saints has the power of Drew Brees. Until now, he is a real danger for any team that crosses the Saints path. And Tampa Bay Buccaneers is the next. Tampa has to deal with Brees, Darren Sproles or Jimmy Graham, so it won't be easy for the Buccaneers to overcome the Saints, when they have been struggling to find their style of play. Not even Gregg Williams and LeGarrette can save them. Dallas Cowboys have one of the best passing attacks and they can measure their power against the weak passing defense of New England Patriots. They should move te ball against the Patriots and get a points quickly. But if they can get a fast advantage, they may regret it in the advanced minutes of the game. Tom Brady and Wes Welker are having one of the best seasons, and they could prove to be merciless against such aggressive opponent. The Patriots should not be underestimated. Minnesota Vikings will be carried by Adrian Peterson; he will be working hard since the first part of the game. He may even be the entire play, but that's the price Minnesota has to pay if they want to win. Chicago Bears can't be underestimated either; their defense may be anything but is not weak. The Bears strategy may be taking down Peterson and possibly neutralizing Jared Allen, however I don't see it happening. Chicago has the worst offensive line of all the NFL. The Miami Dolphins doesn't have a powerful QB, they rely on Matt Moore because Chad Henne is out. Dealing with the New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis could be a real problem for Moore, so he may be warned not to land the ball on Revis direction. The Jets don't have the best run game, and the strategy around Braylon Edwards and Brad Smith is not working the way was planed, however a few changes may give the Jets the victory on this match, Miami doesn't have a chance at all. |
